Airports will soon be buzzing with holiday travelers, and Google is giving a special gift to frequent flyers. Google just announced that they will offer free Wi-Fi in 47 U.S. airports during the holidays. Those traveling through participating airports can gain access to free wireless internet with a laptop or mobile device starting today, through January 15, 2010. They will also offer internet service during every Virgin America flight. Visit the Free Wi-Fi for the Holidays site for details. Google is also running a photo contest for those taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi. Simply submit a photo of yourself using the Wi-Fi during your holiday travels and you'll be entered to win prizes.
