Dutch join the EU's northernmost states at the top of quality-of-life rankings that correlate closely with health, work and wealth.

People living in the Nordic countries and the Netherlands are among the most content in Europe, while happiness levels are the lowest in the newer member states and Portugal, according to a new quality-of-life survey."
