European Economy - Europe Will Hold - by Vidya Ram

The European Central Bank and the Bank of England are unlikely to follow the U.S. Federal Reserve in cutting interest rates when they meet on Thursday. While weak economic data and dismal results from a number of the world's leading financial institutions will prevent the hikes that had been predicted over the summer, inflationary concerns will give them little room for maneuver.
