Halfords pedals into Central Europe - by Emma Thelwell
Halfords the bicycles-to-car parts chain, is gearing up for further expansion into central Europe.The group, which opened its first Central European store in the Czech Republic in June, has revealed plans to open two more before Christmas, and another three next year. Ian McLeod, chief executive, said Halfords was also looking at expanding into Slovakia or Southern Poland.
