Who Paid for Sarkozy's Vacation in US? - Estate owned by former Microsoft Executive

Politicians from France's opposition Socialist Party on Monday demanded to know who was paying for conservative President Nicolas Sarkozy's New England vacation. The Sarkozys have been staying in New Hampshire at an estate on Lake Winnipesaukee owned by former Microsoft Corp. (nasdaq: MSFT - news - people ) executive Michael Appe. The estate can be rented for $30,000 a week, according to a rental Web site.
