THE last time there was a seismic upset in Congress, there was little doubt as to who was the hero on election night and who would lead the party for the next two years: Newt Gingrich. But if Democrats win on Tuesday, which even many Republicans morbidly concede might happen, who should get the credit? Nancy Pelosi or Rahm Emanuel? Charles Schumer or Harry Reid? Howard Dean?
