Business World Dollar sinks against yen, euro holds
The US dollar was weaker against the yen in early Asian trading on technical factors, although the general trend for the dollar is still upward, supported by interest rate differentials. The US Treasury Department said foreign investors poured a record USD101.9bn into US assets in September, easing concerns in the market about financing the record-high US current account deficit.
